oThis is an introductory module that will contribute to the wider aims of the degree which will enable you to gain knowledge and understanding of the historical, social and cultural context of childhood and key dimensions in childhood experience relating to class, gender and ethnicity.
Unit overview: This unit helps learners to prepare themselves practically and mentally for academic learning, to enable learners to use Socratic discussion to enhance their learning and understanding and development and develop a good team interaction and relationships. The Scheme of Work is written termly to reflect current issues in Early Years and to support the other modules as needed.
